5 Simple Ways to Cozy Up Your Home for Fall

Leaves changing colors and dancing to the ground is a stunning signal to start making your home cozy for fall. If you are opting for subtle, yet impactful changes to make to your home; you are in the right place. Today I will be sharing five simple ways to cozy up your home for fall. Cozy Up Your Couch- Drape comfy throws or blankets across the arm or back of your coach and add a few fall-themed toss pillows to match your existing color scheme. Not only will it add texture and interest to your space, but it will also add a touch a warmth that will welcome a relaxing fall nap.

  • Cozy Up Your Kitchen- Light fall scented candles in the kitchen to give off the aroma of pumpkin, apple or sweet potato pies baking all day long. The expression that "fall is in the air" will suddenly take on a brand new meaning.

  • Cozy Up Your Comforter- There is nothing that I love more than a cozy bed. Adding all-cotton flannel sheets and swapping your lightweight bedding to a heavier comforter will undoubtedly do the trick. Watch here to see simple it was for me to cozy up our bedroom for fall.

  • Cozy Up Your Curb Appeal- Add a fall wreath to your front door and create a stunning pumpkin topiary on either side to cozy up your curb appeal. I assure you that your home will suddenly become the talk of the "neighborhood watch."

  • Cozy Up Your Closet- Nothing gets me in the mood for fall like bringing my sweaters and boots to the forefront of my closet. This year I will be using hints of metallic and minimalistic fall décor to style my closet in a way that it will make it feel as if I am walking in boutique every time I open the door.
